Kings Domain Barber Shop are seeking expressions of interest for their Kings Domain Refugee Scholarship Program.
The successful applicant will receive all expenses paid barber training at the Kings Domain Academy in Collingwood. The program runs for six months. The successful applicant will join our September intake.

Sponsors have donated a full tool kit valued at $2,000.
Working in collaboration with Many Coloured Sky, a LGBTQI+ support organisation who advocate for full and equal participation for marginalised communities. This program will create pathways for permanent jobs and a career in a growing industry.

No prior skills are necessary, just the willingness to give it their all. Expressions of interest and applications are encouraged from those who believe they can envision themselves as Melbourne’s next barber.

The employability of the successful recipient will be dramatically increased from their involvement in this unique and innovative initiative. The results will be widespread, benefitting not only the scholarship recipient but the barbering community.
The recipient will be welcomed into the Kings Domain community, learn their barbering craft alongside other aspiring barbers and be trained by the Kings Domain Academy in Collingwood.
Founded in 2013 Kings Domain Barbershops operate seven stores across Melbourne and have been recently joined by the Kings Domain Academy in Collingwood working together to shape the next generation of barbers. Through a hands-on education style that teaches their unique and signature modern barbering style.
